oh but it is. take AMD epyc revenue (lets ignore console also being there) multiply by 4 to account for a likely increase in market share over the next 2 years, and its still much less than what they are earning now in client computing. enof said.

Nice article! Thanks for breaking down the GPU/CPU market!
Poor results - big whopping $160M net - same as the last several quarters - except that one where they made like $10. Even of they spent 100% of net in R&D - that still $640M vs $2.5B Nvidia R&D + $13B Intel R&D. Intel spends more on office furniture than AMD spends on R&D. LMAO.
Revenue down, net earnings flat. Where are these big gains again?

yet another data point showing client computing to be far bigger than data center and enterprise.Deicidium369 - Tuesday, May 5, 2020 - link
Well since AMD doesn't have any market share in the datacenter - it's not much of a data point.azfacea - Tuesday, May 5, 2020 - link

The Intel shills are notable by their absence from this thread. How curious 🧐Lord of the Bored - Monday, May 4, 2020 - link
Spam filter was eating posts when the article went up. No one could post, be they Intel or AMD zealots.Tewt - Monday, May 4, 2020 - link

Yet AMD are ahead in Mobile and Desktop CPUs. Funny that.
