It looks like they want to protect Hollywood and not the actual phone users data. Given their diagrams show the browser as some generic app with not much protection from other apps.
This is the wrong way to go. Big companies don't make android successful the users and app programmers do. And those programmers are allergic to top down heavy handed security.
